These projects mark my first serious attempts at creature and character creation. Prior to this, I had very limited experience in this area, so I knew going into the assignment that it would be a challenge. Despite that, it quickly became one of the most rewarding learning experiences I’ve had.
Throughout the process, I pushed myself to better understand anatomy, form, topology, and presentation. While I didn’t document the pipeline stages as thoroughly as I would have liked, and I ran into some hardware limitations, especially when rendering the turntable animations, I’m proud of what I was able to accomplish within the time constraints.
For a first dedicated attempt at creature and character work, these pieces represent an important milestone in my growth. They also mark the beginning of an area I plan to continue developing and refining as I expand my skill set.
